Fyrex manufacturing facility has the latest technology, state-of-the-art machines-Lathe machine, hydraulic shearing and bending machines, welding machines and a complete machine shop that enable us to meet the needs of any production requirement. Fyrex has the ability to introduce the latest technological systems and equipment in the fire safety field. The department is equipped with full-fledged testing facilities to test the equipment as per NFPA, EN, and Indian standards.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER BODY SECTION

Fyrex Purchases steel from original and reputed producers- Tata Steel/Essar Our
CRCA steel sheets are IS513 compliant.
A specialised Deep Draw process is carried out to give the CRCA steel sheets the shape of a container.

AUTOMATIC MIG WELDING SECTION

Our Welding Process Start with bringing a metal inert gas in MIG welding machine. As welding is prone to generate heat of 1000 0 C. Our MIG use ACN. ACN is a mixture of Argon & Co2 gas in 80:20 Ratio. ACN being an inert gas keep the container safe from burning. Since flux is not used in this process, there is no chance for the entrapment of slag in the weld metal resulting in high quality welds. Also our Welding Process is fully automatic which result in helping us giving Quality Assured Products.

INDIA’S MOST ADVANCED ANTI CORROSIVE TREATMENT (SHOT BLASTING)

Best method for Anti corrosive treatment is shot blasting method and keys benefits are:
• Shot blasting eliminates the usage of non-eco friendly and harsh chemicals.
• The finished surface obtained is absolutely free from chemical deposits, scales and dust content.
• Shot blasting does not remove any virgin metal when removing scales.
• Shot blasting facilitates the formation of a permanent bond between the protective coat and the shot blasted surface. It also helps to detect surface faults or defects.

AUTOMATIC POWDER COATING SECTION

Fyrex has its own automatic powder-coating unit that has enhanced efficiency of powder coating powered by internal and external coating reciprocator. This system provides smooth, swift and precise movement of speedy and uniform coating.

Fyrex has strict Quality Control Department. Our Products undergoes a series of tests at our in-house testing department. All products are manufactured under strict quality control. We are equipped with all latest testing facilities as per IS: 15683 & IS: 4308. Fyrex Extinguisher comes with a warranty of 10 year. And for us, this is not a false promise. That is why once all the components are fitted together, we conduct thorough checks to make sure that the extinguisher is in perfect condition.

We are also having in house Dry Chemical Powder manufacturing facility. We manufacture products with latest technology & formulation including 100% siliconization. IMPORTANCE OF FIRE EXTINGUISHER RATINGS

There are plenty of options when it comes to buying or replacing a fire extinguisher. Before buying a fire extinguisher for your office, home, kitchen, garage or factory, you need to understand what those letters and numbers on the front label means. Letters and numbers represent the type and size of fire that an extinguisher can handle. These codes are printed on all BIS (Bureau of India standards) approved Fire Extinguishers.

The letters on a fire extinguisher's label indicate which class of fire it can fight.

Class A - Suitable for paper, wood & textiles.

Class B - Suitable for flammable liquids.

Class C - Suitable for flammable gases.

For example, an extinguisher marked "A B C" could extinguish Class A, Class B, and Class C fires.

These classes form the backbone of fire extinguisher classifications and the distinctions have important implications. The number on a fire extinguisher’s label indicates how much fire the extinguishing agent can extinguish. This help user understand that larger the number before the Code letter, bigger the fire (of that Class) that extinguisher can tackle

Each fire class rating is measured differently, Class A fire rating are calculated by how many stacks of wood cribs the extinguisher can tackle & class B rating are established by the number of liter of flammable liquid that can be extinguished.

Rating comparison

If you buy a 4 kg fire extinguisher of rating 2A 55B. It will extinguish fire of 112 pcs of wood of length 635mm and extinguish a flammable liquid fire of 1.73 m2 . While if you buy a 4 kg fire extinguisher of rating 4A 144B. It will extinguish fire of 180 pcs of wood of length 800mm and extinguish a flammable liquid fire of 4.52 m2 .

Now It’s easier to see the relationship between the increasing fire rating. If you convert them into percentages, as ratings 55B to 144B won’t immediately tell you of a 300% increase in fire extinguishing capacity, which is worth keeping in mind if you’re comparing prices without drilling down to check specifications.

So remember, no matter what Brand of fire extinguisher you buy, the most important factor in the Fire extinguishers is the rating to put out a fire. So always buy a fire extinguisher with highest Fire rating
